Earlier it felt damp walking over. Now the sky looks just cloudy. Keep the poncho stuffed in the bag for the walk back, or are we finally dry on the route.

Evening on the route has been dry and cloudy - not the afternoon spit. I still keep a light cover because habits die hard, but it is not pouring.

Compact poncho weighs nothing. Bring it; you will not need a full rain jacket.
