The CPC has indeed announced the reinstatement of the QR system for fuel distribution starting today April 19. Managing Director Mayura Neththikumarage stated that fuel issuance will also follow the odd even number system for the next few weeks to manage supply logistics efficiently following the New Year peak demand.

Tourists using rental vehicles should ensure they have the QR code provided by the rental agency. Most agencies are already updated with the new directive.
