Is the fuel QR system suspended for the New Year season?

The petrol QR quota system has been temporarily suspended for the New Year season until April 18, 2026. This is to facilitate easier travel for the holidays. However, I recommend keeping your registration active as the system might be reinstated after the festive period. Fuel stocks are currently reported as stable through mid June thanks to recent crude oil shipments docking in Colombo.
