Wanted a cool-down stroll around the lake after watching. Is the lakeside walk usable tonight or still fenced / diverted for the Perahera route.

Segments near the route stay controlled until the cortege passes. Farther lakeside stretches can be open - follow police tape, not muscle memory.

If you only need air, walk the open side and save the postcard jetty for tomorrow morning.

Do not hop barriers for a photo. Fines and shouting ruin the night faster than a detour.
