Honestly stuck in Galle. Desk will not honour the rate we screenshotted. Partner and I do not agree and the bags are already packed the wrong way.

Local take from Galle: ask the stall or the desk, not a group chat. Agree before you pay. A worry is not a blotter. Do not invent official fees. If you can see a seated option, take it. If the shutter is down, morning is the shop. Then tea.
We pushed through Galle once with wrecked kids and hated the next day. Sit if they are done. First light is kinder than noon.
Walk only if bags are light and the lane is lit. Otherwise pay. Galle after dark is not a principle. Call the desk before you guess.
