Cover legs and shoulders, shoes off inside. Street is mixed. Skip is polite. A wrap from the stall is fine; a see-through beach sarong is not. Do not make the doorway at Ja-Ela a fitting room. No drone, no flash. I will not invent a whole-city dress code.
If you sit a table, order. Occupying shade with a bottle you brought is the rude version.
We named a fare before we sat. Fine. The first number at Ja-Ela was a test.
Kids: seated or skip. Pride turns Ja-Ela night room into a speech at the kerb.
