Booked a fan room in Jaffna for 2 Sep. Reviews mention outages. Caution on the North holds. I can still switch to a place with a generator. 1:35am regret shopping.

A generator helps a fan at 14:00. Caution does not mandate a generator. If the elder or kid is heat-fragile, pay the extra for a place that actually has backup, not a listing that typed the word. I will not invent a Jaffna-wide outage for 1 Sep. Water in bottles either way.
