Ask when the generator runs and ask them to switch the AC on before you dump bags. If it dies after nine, that is a fan room with a sticker. Decide if the elder can sleep that way. A cheaper fan room that is honest beats a pretend AC. Water in a bottle you bought, not only theirs.

They turned it on, it cooled, generator was real until morning. Fine.
