Jaffna overnight bus dumped us at the station before light — tuk into town or wait for a seated hop

31 Aug, dark, two packs. Drivers already circling. I do not want a tour of the peninsula as a 'from station' fare. Need town, a room, then a palmyrah sit. Ordinary Monday.

Agree a short hop into town before you sit. Station to a guest house is not a peninsula tour. Jaffna is open. Nobody invented a curfew. Write the pin, or walk if bags are light and you know the road.

We paid a short number, slept two hours, walked. Fine. First quote was a story.

Point Pedro is a separate day. Do not buy it from the station kerb at 5am.
