Jaffna–Colombo night bus layover at Vavuniya, elderly parent, heat later — sit the waiting room or push a van

Layover is running long. Parent 74. Bulletin 01 Caution includes North-Central. It is still night, heat is a daytime problem, but the van tout says 'heat coming, better pay now'. I have two seats on the through bus if it actually continues.

Sit the waiting room. Night is not the heat index. Bulletin 01 is daytime Caution for North-Central, valid Wednesday — hydrate later, do not buy a panic van. If the through bus is on the ticket, stay on it. Tout is selling speed, not Met.
