The S7 Novosibirsk to Colombo is about ten hours with a technical refuel in Jaipur, and they say passengers stay onboard. Sit that, or pick a route where we can get off.

Stay onboard. It is a fuel stop, not a connection you walk. Stretch in the aisle if they let you. If you hate sitting, pick a one-stop you can leave. Do not invent that you must clear Indian immigration.

We would sit it. Ten hours with one fuel pause is still simpler than a real change of plane.
