Buy a cheap jumper in town. Go early for the view; mist is ordinary August, not a cancelled mountain. August evenings on the hill are real. I will not invent a shop hour. Haputale will not warm you.

Come early or be honest. Arriving at a listed start owns a shoulder view. 6:40 is listed, not a promise the first elephant is on the kerb.
