We came up from the south with linen shirts. August. Forums said jumper. Is that leftover-season theatre or will we actually want sleeves after five.

Buy one. August evenings in Nuwara are sleeves and often a second layer if the wind is up. Not snow. Not a costume. Cheap stalls behind the bus stand sell ordinary jumpers. Tourist street sells the same thing with a label. You will wear it to dinner and on the lake loop.

We bought behind the stand. Wore it the same night. Fine.

Socks too if you feel the cold in beds. Guesthouses are not heated like a brochure.

A dry shirt is not a jumper. Wind at Gregory will teach you.

Shared van is ordinary. Private is a product, not a law. We still missed a train and lived.

Screenshot whatever the desk says. Inland data dies. We still missed a train and lived.
