Jungle Beach path from Unawatuna after Saturday rain made the hill a chute — walk or pay a short tuk hop

Path looks like a mud slide. Driver wants a number that feels like a tour. Day bags, not suitcases. 23 Aug, still dripping off the trees. Kid with us.

Pay a short hop if the path is slick and you have a kid. Walk if you have shoes with grip and the rain has stopped. Do not pay a tour number for a ten-minute hill. Agree the fare before you sit. Jungle Beach is a cove, not a secret. The path is public.

We walked. Slow. Shoes muddy. Fine. The quote was a joke.

Kids: tuk. Pride bargains twenty minutes in the drizzle.

Ask two drivers. The first number is a test.
