Saturday 22 Aug, Kadugannawa. Maligawa courtyard at mid-afternoon with 5th Kumbal still ahead at 6:28. We are pregnant, exit matters more than front row. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to pay a desk invention.

Cover legs and shoulders, shoes off inside. Street is mixed. Skip if you have nothing to cover with. No drone, no flash at a conserved platform. A wrap from the stall is fine; a see-through beach sarong is not. Do not make the doorway a fitting room.

Poncho. Umbrella on that pinch is a fight. They run wet if it is the procession.

Kids: sit. Pride turns Kadugannawa into a speech at the kerb. Then tea.

Seated later. Unreserved standing with shells is how you hate Saturday.

Passport at the counter. A cousin SIM is how you buy a headache. Ordinary.
