If it is not on your ticket as a halt, stay on or you collect a gem-shop loop. Kalutara temple is open for a real visit you choose. A surprise blessing halt is often a cousin. Do not invent a closed temple — just do not be hijacked.

We stayed on. Fine. Blessing can be a proper visit on the way back.

If the whole bus empties for a genuine scheduled halt, stretch and return to the same seats.
