Sunday checkout but Randoli is evening, then we leave Monday. Guesthouse is full with turnover. Better to negotiate a late checkout, or leave bags at reception and wander until evening.

Leave bags and wander is the usual Perahera-week compromise when rooms must turn. Late checkout only if they truly have spare space.

Ask early and politely. Some offer a day room or shower pass even when overnight extension is impossible.

Keep valuables on you. Bag rooms are normal; do not leave passports in an unlocked suitcase.
