Arriving Kandy this evening actually; packing the Wednesday-no wait, packing the 2 Sep morning walk in my head at 1:25 because jetlag. Esala ended 28 Aug. Will the lake still be a chair farm?

Walk. 1–2 Sep the lake is a lake. Leftover chairs get fewer each night after the last drums. Nobody reserved the water. Ordinary loop, ordinary dogs, ordinary tea after. I will not invent a lakeside ticket.

We looped 31 Aug. One stubborn chair row, plenty of gap. Fine.

Do not pay a plastic chair for a view of water.

Temple later: cover up. Lake is not the temple.

Heat Caution is water and shade. It is not a closed dagoba.

If the app surges ugly, sleep nearer and train in daylight.
