Can we still do a short Kandy lake paddle-boat 3 to 5 PM as a kids kill-time before we claim a curb for First Randoli. Not a dawn lake walk and not the mid-morning playground.

Boats sometimes still run mid-afternoon on quieter stretches, but festival Sundays can cut hours early. Ask at the jetty when you arrive — if they are boarding, keep it short and leave margin to walk to your curb.

If the lake desk is closed, treat that as your cue to head toward the route.
