Train gets us in late 1 Sep. Esala ended 28 Aug. Partner thinks leftover crowds still eat tuks. Elder in the group. 01:36 packing.

Tuks still run. 110/90 still holds. Peradeniya is an ordinary hop. Write the fare before you sit. Leftover Esala is leftover, not a night surcharge I will invent. If the elder is wrecked, PickMe to a door. Streets are ordinary Tuesday night, not a cortege.

We did station to Peradeniya last week late. Meter-ish number, fine.

Pride waits for a 'festival rate' that already went home.

Elder sat. The rest of us stood and that was the whole compromise.

If the first driver laughs at the meter, the second one might not.
