27 Aug, Kandy station, with notes running thin. First timers, no balcony budget. Desk has a number that feels like a tour. Need a local, not a brochure. If the festival continues to 28th Diya/Dahawal, do not pack us like it ends on the kerb tonight.

Sit pavement. I will not invent an official stand price. Private balconies are private deals. Arrive early, sit low, zip the water. Do not invent a reserved street.

We queued the next ATM. A line is not a shutdown. Kandy station was the pin.

Skip is polite. On 'pay a balcony story or sit pavement like everyone else' — board, not desk.
