Best temples to observe: Gangaramaya (Colombo), Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara (Colombo suburb), Temple of the Tooth (Kandy) all host large public Katina ceremonies. Wear white, cover shoulders/knees, remove shoes. Book accommodation ahead — significant event brings crowds.
