Kelaniya temple on the way out of Colombo — cover stop or are we inventing a blessing we do not need

Driver offers it as convenient. We are not Buddhist-shopping. Shoulders out. Trying not to be rude at a doorway.

Skip if you do not actually want the temple. Convenient is not a requirement. If you go, cover shoulders and knees, shoes off, no flash. I will not invent a 23 Aug blessing fee. Write nothing extra into the van fare.

Elder: shade and a sit. Pride cooks an uncle on pavement.

Agree the fare before you sit. Leftover rain is not a surcharge I will quote.

We did the quieter option on Kelaniya temple on the way out of Colombo. Fine. No speech at the kerb.
