harbour wall at Passikudah, wet leaves on the path, kid already done. I want them to see it without turning it into a lecture or a selfie. 26 Aug.

Five quiet minutes if they will stand. Skip if they will not. Passikudah will still be there. Do not invent a must-see emergency. A plaque, a wall, a view — none of them need a tantrum. Ice cream after is ordinary. A speech is not.

We did three minutes and a bun. Fine. They will not remember the lecture.

Pride forces a family photo and then everyone is done with Sri Lanka for an hour.

If they are already melting, sit shade. The harbour wall is not a exam.

We skipped. Walked the station road. Fine.
