Knee is skinned, leftover rain, kid is loud. Partner wants a clinic. I think plaster. Not asking for a hospital name to panic. Asking for ordinary.

Plaster if it is a scrape. Clinic in Galle town if it is deep, swelling, or a head knock. Wet cobbles do this every leftover-rain morning. Do not invent a Fort emergency desk. A pharmacy on the town side will sell a plaster without a speech.

Pharmacy, plaster, juice. Fine. We skipped the wall until afternoon.

Pride Googles a hospital and misses the van they already paid.

We took the quieter fork on this: Kid slipped on wet Fort cobbles this morning. Fine. No one clapped.

Kids: sit. Pride turns 'Kid slipped on wet Fort cobbles this morning' into a speech at the kerb.

Ask two locals. The first number about Kid slipped on wet Fort cobbles this morning is a test, not a fee I will invent.
