Kids will not last a 6:53 PM Third Randoli if they stay wired from last night. How do families time an afternoon nap so they actually last, without a second wind at dusk.

Dark room, no parade clips on the phone, and a hard wake time about two hours before you walk so they can eat.

We start the nap right after lunch and keep the room dim even if they only doze; a short rest still buys us the 6:53 PM start.

If they refuse a nap, a quiet indoor lunch and a story hour still beats another lake walk in the drizzle.
