Kids are bouncing on the bed. We already walked in. Drums still audible from the occupied streets. Earplugs, or just kill the lights and wait it out.

Earplugs first, then lights out. A dark room alone will not win against drums that are still on the street.

We did both. Soft foam plugs and the bathroom light only. They stopped bouncing after a few minutes.

If they refuse plugs, one adult sits in the dark with them. Do not take them back down.
