Toddler on a private-driver week. Do hotels or drivers actually keep spare car seats we can trust, or should we bring our own seat and treat that as non-negotiable.

Bring your own if you can. Hotel spares are uneven and drivers’ seats are rarely the model you would choose for a long hill transfer.

Ask the driver to confirm anchorage before you book the day. A yes on chat means nothing if the belt geometry is wrong on arrival.

For short town tuks, hold the child securely and skip the fantasy of a perfect tuk seat. Save the proper seat for the van or car legs.
