Step further back if there is any outer space — even one row helps. If the crowd is already a solid wall, hands over ears plus a calm explanation beats shoving people. Consider a quiet exit if they are distressed every burst.
Between bursts, remind them denser dancers still ahead so the noise is not endless mystery.
A bag seat further back is kinder than forcing the front kerb through another hour of drums.
