Kids eat huge early dinners then feel awful standing. Half-portions now a sane rule before Second Randoli. Not ice cream right after the nap, and not juice boxes for the curb wait.

Half-portions for kids at early dinner are a sane house rule before long standing — you can always add fruit later.
