Kids melted at Haputale stand — seated later, or we own a tantrum on a maybe — east catch-up versus leftover south flags

Stand at Haputale, Monday 31 Aug. A group chat promised a later seated bus. A van is filling now. Elder in the group. Ordinary bags. I do not want a night tuk because we waited for a maybe. East catch-up versus leftover south flags. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Sit the van that is filling. An empty reserved board at Haputale is not a miracle. A group chat is not a timetable. Seated later beats standing now if an elder vetoes; standing now beats a night tuk if the last hop dies with light. Write the grown-up station. I will not invent a 31 Aug timetable.

We took the quieter fork at Haputale. Fine. No one clapped.

We dumped bags first. That was the whole trick.
