Kids need a quiet Zoom school check-in from the hotel room this morning after a late parade night. Realistic, or reschedule. Not kids dawn wake quiet lobby versus force sleep, and not family WhatsApp stay-for-tonight reply.

Do it on hotel Wi-Fi with door signed do-not-disturb if they slept enough. Keep the call short. If they are fragile, message the teacher and reschedule — school usually understands travel.
