Teach kids: (1) never sneak photos, always ask first. (2) show the person afterwards. (3) don't photograph poverty/vulnerability. (4) offer to email/print photos back — some families deeply value. (5) portraits of other kids — ask parents first.

Cultural: Sri Lankan kids often eager to be photographed and often show showoff to parents. Local kids/families warm and welcoming. Foreign kids often celebrated. Teach kids the etiquette of asking + smiling — beautiful cultural exchange.
