Kitchen first. A leftover packet after a long humid stand is cold comfort. One adult asks the desk while the others wash hands.

We asked. They heated leftover rice we had left with them at five, which was better than the room packet.

If the kitchen is closed, kettle-hot water over the leftover rice is kinder than sending one adult back into occupied streets for a stall.
