Kids went down after we sat the leftover Saturday in town. A Sunday hop is loading at first light. Wake them, or let them sleep and take a later one.

Let them sleep. Take a later Sunday bus. A wrecked kid on a first-light hop is how you lose the day. Festival is over. Nothing on the street Sunday morning is worth a wake-up fight.

We let them sleep until nine and took the next hop. Fine. The family who woke theirs at five were still arguing at the stand.

Elders in the group too: later bus. Pride can drag a tired child onto a Sunday hop and regret it by the first bend.
