Kitulgala after lunch. It is spitting. Sit a shop until it eases, or keep the hop going. Not looking at the river, just moving on.

Keep the hop if the bus is there. A shop roof is for when you have time to kill. Spit on this road is ordinary. Do not turn a shower into a half-day sit.

If it is a hard shower and the next bus is a long gap, shop. Then go. Do not wait for a clear sky.
