Saturday 22 Aug, Koggala. Flag on the main bay with leftover SW chop, toddler already in the shallows. Partner wants the photo. I want the feet. If Ahangama is kinder, say so.

The pole is a pole, not a cocktail. Stay where you can stand. I am not quoting an official warning colour as a 22 Aug gazette. Inflatables past the first break are how you buy a plaster. The bar does not write the sea.

Poncho. Umbrella on that pinch is a fight. They run wet if it is the procession.

Kids: sit. Pride turns Koggala into a speech at the kerb. Then tea.

Seated later. Unreserved standing with shells is how you hate Saturday.

Passport at the counter. A cousin SIM is how you buy a headache. Ordinary.

We waited until it was dull and dry. Flip-flops were a mistake at eight.
