Path looks tired from leftover rain. Driver wants a number that feels like a tour. We have day bags, not suitcases. 31 Aug at Kollupitiya. We can walk. We can pay a short hop. We will not pay a speech. Ordinary town Monday, not a festival. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Pay a short hop if the path is slick and you have a kid or an elder. Walk if you have shoes with grip and the rain has stopped. Do not pay a tour number for a ten-minute Kollupitiya hill. Agree the fare before you sit. If you mention a number, the Ada 110/90 hold is for people who actually ask a tuk, not a brochure. I will not invent a new tariff.

We took the quieter fork at Kollupitiya. Fine. No one clapped.

Wrap at the gate, not a beach scarf. Doorway is not a fitting room.
