27 Aug, Kotugodella Veediya, on the last night before Diya. Want a canopy walk. Bags of snacks. Need a local, not a brochure. If the festival continues to 28th Diya/Dahawal, do not pack us like it ends on the kerb tonight.

Zip bottles. Monkeys are faster than your zip. Morning is kinder than a night climb after drums. Be back early if the night is a kerb. No whale is promised.

We skipped the boat. Harbour was a pitch, not a promise. Kotugodella Veediya was the pin.

Pride argues with a pole and then buys a plaster. On 'Udawatta in the morning before the last night — zip bott' — board, not desk.

Main machine, then the next, then town. Not a cousin POS. Kotugodella Veediya was the pin.
