Relatives insist the house is close. Second Kumbal listed 6:41. Is a Kundasale commute still realistic after last night already taught us last kilometres crawl, or do I book a cheap town room just for tonight.

Realistic if you leave early and treat it like Peradeniya. Not realistic if you leave at 17:40 because an uncle said it is close. Town room for one night is the less-rude option if the elder is in the van.

Every out-of-town pin needs a buffer. Relatives measure daylight, not cones.

Pay the silly last-bit. Do not win an argument on a driveway.

Same speech I give for Pallekele. Sleep here, meet in town, do not watch 6:41 from a driveway.

We booked town for one night, kept the family lunch. Peace.

Write the return fare with whoever drives. After drums, family rates get creative too.
