Lake-side air feeling cooler and damper after two hours. Move one block inland for comfort, or stay for the view even if the kids complain. Not lake-side mosquitoes as the main ask, not walk back to lake hotels versus stay, and not uphill thinner versus lake packed.

One block inland can feel less damp without losing the night if that face of the ring still has a view. If the lake view is why you came and kids only mildly complain, layer up and stay. Do not invent a must-move rule — comfort versus view is your call.

Cooler air does not fix ringing ears — step off if that is the real issue.
