Walk if the stones are dull and dry. Sit paddle booth if they are still slick. Walk the loop if the wind is a hat; the car-park photo is not the lake. I will not invent a lake closure. Shoes with grip beat sandals.
Elder move: plate, shade, then decide. Gregory Lake loop will still be there. Shade before pride.
