Landed BIA 00:40 Tuesday — street tuk quoting 3500 to Negombo or wait for PickMe at 110/90
Flight dumped us at 00:40 on 1 Sep. Kid asleep on a shoulder. Outside the arrivals door a driver already has a 3500 story for Negombo. Meter app still shows 110 first click. Bags are two plus a car seat. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to start Tuesday with a tour number.

Wait for PickMe or a metered tuk. 110 first, 90 after is still the hold this week. 3500 at midnight is a tired-arrival tax, not a new board. Write the pin at the official rank, not the cousin who grabbed the trolley. Negombo is a short hop, not a night safari. If the app is spinning, agree a number that looks like a meter before you sit, then sit.
We paid the app at 00:55 last week same hop. Fine. The 3500 speech started before the bags even landed.
