If Grab and tuk both die after First Randoli, is there still a last local bus toward Peradeniya or Katugastota after 9. Not Monday intercity and not Good Shed taxi.

Local buses toward Peradeniya and Katugastota can still run after 9 but thin out and fill fast on Randoli nights. Walk to a known outer stop rather than waiting inside the parade ring. Have a walking backup.

If the bus queue looks hopeless, keep walking the lit outer road rather than standing in an unlit pocket.
