Deep mid is early for a car sitting and waiting, but setting a pickup pin outside the lock and watching ETAs is smart. Some travelers pre-book a wider window when the app allows cancel — judge surge on the live map, not curb panic. Hotel desk can also call a trusted driver.
If drivers already shout finish prices, the app pin farther out is your friend.
