Last van out of Batticaloa — sit the one filling or wait for a maybe that the group chat promised — this Monday morning after leftover rain

Stand at Batticaloa, Monday 31 Aug. A group chat promised a later seated bus. A van is filling now. Elder in the group. Ordinary bags. I do not want a night tuk because we waited for a maybe. This Monday morning after leftover rain. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Sit the van that is filling. An empty reserved board at Batticaloa is not a miracle. A group chat is not a timetable. Seated later beats standing now if an elder vetoes; standing now beats a night tuk if the last hop dies with light. Write the grown-up station. I will not invent a 31 Aug timetable.

We took the quieter fork at Batticaloa. Fine. No one clapped.

Rice was still steaming two streets off. First grill was tired oil.

Prepaid pin if the clock is real. Not the first cousin.
