Late for the middle-morning theva - do they still let tourists in after the slot has begun
Just now we are late. 9:30 already went. Partner thinks once theva starts the inner rooms seal and tourists wait outside until 11:00. I think the temple stays open 5:30 to 8:00 and the ticket is still the machine. Go to the door, or wait in the shade until the slot ends.

Open 5:30 AM-8:00 PM. Theva windows are 5:30-7:00, 9:30-11:00, 6:30-8:00. The FAQ does not say the temple closes to ticket-holders when a theva is running. How much of the inner shrine is visible mid-slot varies — do not promise a front row.
We arrived after 9:30 another day and still bought the machine ticket. Inner was busy. Nobody sent us back to the street.
Shorts and sleeveless not permitted. Wrap at the entrance. Same rules whether theva is on or not.
