We have leftover notes from last night. Morning desk will change them, or we walk to a shop. Not looking for a machine.

Desk first if you are still in the room. Changing leftover notes at reception is ordinary. A shop works if the desk is busy. Keep small notes for tea.

If the desk only takes cards for the extra night, use the notes at a shop and keep the card for the room.
