Highway if you are going Fort/Kollupitiya. A3 through Jaela is lights and leftover rain spray. Night hop: highway, pin, bed. Don't 'see the town' at 2am.

Airport road to Negombo is the short one if that is your pin. Fort is the highway. Say the pin, not the scenic.
