I'm looking for inclusive and welcoming places. Any recommendations or ways to find them?

Many modern boutique hotels, guesthouses in tourist areas (especially Galle Fort, Ahangama, Ella), and wellness-focused places are welcoming and inclusive. Some specifically market themselves as LGBTQ+ friendly. The scene is more visible in tourist-oriented areas than in smaller towns. Word of mouth in traveler communities and recent reviews often give the best current information. Most people have positive experiences in well-reviewed places that cater to international visitors. Being discreet in more conservative or rural areas is still wise.

The more international and tourist-oriented the place, the more relaxed and welcoming it tends to be. Galle Fort and the south coast have good options.
